Hey ya’ll! I’m Sunny Jo. I just want to start off by letting you know a little bit about me, and what brought me to the idea of starting this blog. I’m a Christian, wife, and mother to 3 boys. I have been in this little top, left, corner of Tennessee my whole life. I grew up with mostly boys, so naturally I’ve always been a tom-boy, loving fishing, sports, being outside, and getting dirty with the boys. Yes, I tried to match them step for step in everything, to only end up being “bullied”, made fun of, and of course always the butt of the jokes. I wouldn’t have traded it for the world despite it and they are a huge part of my life. Fast forward a few years, I had my first son when I was 18, married at 19, had our second son, divorced by age 22, met my now husband, had our son in 2019, and we got married in 2021. Our beginning started off, well, not so great, even though we were hopelessly in love with one another and just couldn’t stay away from each other. That story is for another blog post coming soon, so watch out for that one. 5 years into the depths of marriage, we finally had our “aha” moment, if you will. We got into church, we made life and love changes, according to how God planned marriage and love to be. As close to it as we ever have been anyways, and continuously working at it day in and day out. We have listened, learned, been shown, the ways to have that happier, healthier life that we want to pass down to our kids. We sought The Lord, He heard, and He answered. God has changed our lives drastically, and we are definitely blessed. With that being said, this is why I have felt led to start this journey of being one of those crazy blogging ladies! I have felt a push to share my story with others for a while now, and with the help of the Lord, I trust that it may help someone who may be going through things too. Let’s face it, we all have/are! This a 100% new to me, so bear with me, while The Father in Heaven leads my words to further His Kingdom. Amen.
